1. Industrial Fiber Crop (Kenaf) Production and Processing

With a commitment to quality and excellence, Omni Ventures has been a supplier of kneaf fiber crop materials in the United States.

2. Alternative Grains Markets

Omni Ventures, Inc. has become a central clearinghouse through which its members may effectively enter the global marketplace - either by selling locally produced agricultural products for cash or by exchanging them for commodities of equal or greater value.

3. Local Agricultural Processing

Omni Ventures, Inc. continues its efforts to create innovative partnerships with domestic manufacturers and food processing firms offering opportunities for adding value to locally produced agricultural products.

The three preceding goals were established as a result of strategic visioning and planning sessions held in January, 2000, facilitated by the Illinois Institute for Rural Affairs at Western Illinois University in partnership with the Illinois Department of Agriculture, the Illinois Council on Food and Agricultural Research and Southern Illinois University.
